Pizza Ranch is a great pizza and fried chicken buffet restaurant for the whole family. We like to eat there when we have coupons or when they have special Monday night fundraisers. I would give them five stars, but the bus service is a little slow sometimes, and without a coupon the prices are kinda steep.
The fried chicken is delicious as are the mashed potatoes with gravy. Also the cactus bread is a MUST HAVE for dessert. Great buffet options for pizza lovers and non lovers alike. Always fresh always good always leave full.
Come to a resuraunt to to eat not to listen to prayers in-between the aonga on the catholic radio when there are 3 other radio stations in town.

To sum it up YUM! Great food, fast delivery, good prices. My husband & I cant wait to come back through again to eat and also stay at The Super 8 Motel just off of Hwy 71. Two good reasons to haul loads through Carroll, Iowa!
We love this particular Pizza Ranch because it represents the concepts the company set out to practice. Paul is an awesome franchisee. Solid Christian, solid husband and father. Why does this matter? Because I believe that people who can take care of their families can take care of their customers. The place is clean, well lit with 4 buffet tables (salads, pizza, chicken and sides and desert) clean restrooms. A meeting space that can be divided to two sections. We held meetings there monthly for a year and never had a problem. One hint, to your server, it's a buffet but you don't have to clear your own plates right. Don't be cheapskates!
